School (HIS)

HIS Pods is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide affordable Christ centered education in a world where the Truth is in question daily.  We partner with local ministries. churches, and home school communities to sponsor and supplement in with areas that receive little to no government funding.  

​

Our Christian school is for full time students who will take classes on traditional subject matters including History, Language (English & Spanish), Mathematics, and Science. Our students are also fully immersed in learning about Jesus.  Classes are all hosted and taught at Horizon Church in Jaco, Costa Rica.

The Food Pantry is a way to support local families in need.  We need help collecting the following items: 

  • Rice

  • Beans/lentils.Chickpeas

  • Pasta

  • Tuna

  • Coffee

  • Powdered milk

  • Oil

  • Sugar

  • Salt

Sport Outreach

BASEBALL MINISTRY

The Jaco Royals is a youth, faith-centered baseball team dedicated to instilling Christian values through a sports led ministry. It is completely free and for all children ages 6-16.

At Horizon Church Jaco, we desire that every man, woman, and child to come to experience Christ in a personal way.   We view  God's Word as the means to understand the heart of God.  We believe it to be living and active and transformative for our everyday lives.  Therefore, we emphasize God's Word as a means to knowing God.  

Love God

We believe that anyone who truly comes to know God will love God and express that love for Him. Our vision for worship is to create an environment where people can encounter the Living God. We strive to do this through prayer, worship, giving, and the study of God's Word.  

Serve God

Followers of Jesus are called to become servants. We want to actively demonstrate self-sacrificial love by serving the people around us. We are a family, and like a family, we all pitch in.  There are service opportunities within the church, locally, and internationally. Click below to see areas where you can serve.
